2010:  Will look to pick up more playingtime after a solid off season … should provide good depthfor the Spartans talented core of defending players … gainedexperience last season he will be able to draw upon in 2010… can play anywhere throughout the central areas of thepitch.

2009: Appeared in four games for the Greenand White as a freshman … scored his first collegiate goalagainst Gallaudet on September 30 as part of a 7-0 Spartan win… gained valuable experience … helped the Spartans totheir fourth CAC Tournament championship … was part ofYork’s fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Personal: Is a psychology major … isthe son of George and Ginny Anikienko … born on November 16,1990 … played club soccer for the PA Classics … waschosen as a Lancaster/Lebanon League and Central Pennsylvaniaall-star in high school … names Ghandi as the person he mostadmires … hobbies include yoga and meditation …favorite athlete is Michael Lansing … chose York because ofthe coaching staff … lists bench-pressing 230 pounds as hismost memorable athletic moment at York … after graduation heplans on “making six figures.”
