2017: Started in all 18 games as a sophomore at center back ... named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference first team ... finished with six points on three goals from his defensive spot ... shined in the season-opening "Turk" Emekli DC Classic, scoring a goal against both Carroll (Wisc.) and Catholic in 4-2 and 5-2 wins, respectively ... both goals came off free kicks ... added another goal against Marymount (Va.) in a 6-1 win ... York went 3-0 in games he scored in.

2016: Started all 19 games in his freshman year for the Green and White ... notched his first career assist against Alvernia in a 4-1 win at home on Sept. 4 ... helped the defense to five shutouts on the season, while giving up just 1.18 goals per game .. also help opposing teams to just a 13.3% shot percentage.

Personal: Is an entrepreneurship major while he is also pursing a minor in psychology ... is the son of Addisu Mengesha and Amsale Tesgaye ... born on August 31, 1998 ... played for Dafydd Evans at DeMatha Catholic High School ... played his club soccer for the Olney Roadrunners Blue 98/99 ... was a captain as a senior at DeMatha ... played in Region 1 US youth soccer national league ... was a part of the Maryland Olympic Developmental Program ... was a multiple time honors student at DeMatha.
