CAREER STATISTICS AND CAREER HIGHS

2012: Opens his senior campaign as a dangerous attacking player for the Green and White . . . will look to build on his all-region and all-conference accolades from last season . . . is extremely athletic . . . gifted in the attack . . . can take-on defenders and create his own chances . . . has tremendous potential . . . possesses outstanding on-the-ball skill . . . has an exceptional knowledge of the game . . . will again be asked to provide a consistent offensive presence throughout the campaign.

2011: Appeared in 21 games with 19 starts . . . scored a team high six goals . . . tallied a team high five assists . . . ended the season with 17 total points . . . took an impressive 55 shots with 16 on goal . . . recorded a single-game high 10 shots at Hood on Oct. 24 . . . had a single-game high four points on Oct. 12 at Stevenson.

2010: Put together a quality season for the Green and White . . . played in all 22 Spartan contests and was in the first XI in 21 of those games . . . notched five goals and five assists for 15 points on the season as each of those marks ranked second on the York squad in 2010 . . . was chosen to the All-Capital Athletic Conference second-team for the first time in his career . . . named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week in men's soccer on September 27 after helping the Spartans to a 2-0 week against CAC competition . . . Bua scored the game-winner against Stevenson in a 1-0 win on September 22  and provided two assists against St. Mary's (Md.) in a September 25 3-0 victory . . . selected as the Spartan Athlete of the Week on November 1 after leading York to a 3-0 CAC triumph over Hood on October 26 . . . part of York's fifth Capital Athletic Conference Tournament championship and sixth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

2009: Made an immediate impact as a rookie . . . appeared in all 23 Spartan games in just his freshman season . . . started seven contests including York’s first game of the season and then their last five . . . scored seven goals . . . tallied the game-winning score on four different occasions . . . leading scorer in the 2009 NCAA Tournament with six points on three goals . . . helped the Spartans to their fourth CAC Tournament championship . . . was part of York’s fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Personal: Is a business administration major and marketing minor . . . the son of Gaetano and Angela Bua . . . born on August 23, 1990 . . . played club soccer for PA Classics Academy . . . was a first team all-state selection in high school . . . was named a section MVP for his efforts as a senior . . . was a two-time first-team All-Lancaster/Lebanon League performer . . . was chosen as the MVP high school athlete for Lampeter-Strasburg High . . . names his parents as the people he most admires . . . hobbies include spending time with friends and family . . . favorite athlete is Roberto Baggio . . . chose York because of its soccer program . . . his most significant athletic achievement is being an all-state player in high school . . . his most memorable athletic moment while with the Spartans is scoring goals in the 2009 NCAA Tournament . . . after graduation he plans on moving to Italy.
