Shane Brookhart returns to the York Men’s Lacrosse program for the 2024 season as an assistant coach.

Brookhart returns to York after a stellar career in his playing days with the Green and White. During his career, the Spartans won 72 games while only losing 13. Brookhart helped lead the 2016 team to the school’s first CAC Championship beating #1 Salisbury University. Each year, Brookhart wore the Green and White, the team advanced to the NCAA Tournament making it to the quarterfinals three out of the four years.

Brookhart will work closely with both the goalies and the face-off unit while also running the substitution box on game days.

"Shane was such a valuable asset to the York Lacrosse program as a player and I believe he will do even more as a coach. Shane has a great IQ and has such a great perspective on our team’s culture for our players to learn from.”
