Biography

Joan Shultis comes into the 2009 season looking to solidifyherself as one of the conference’s top defensive players.Shultis nabbed starts in 20 games for the Spartans last seasonspending a majority of her time as York’s right back. Astrong defensive player that anticipates the game exceptionallywell, Shultis consistently puts herself in position to make playsfor the Green and White. As she enters her junior campaign, Shultiswill look for added focus throughout each 70 minutes, a factor thatcould result in an all-conference caliber performance.
