CAREER STATISTICS AND CAREER HIGHS

2012: Enters her final season after a quality 2011 campaign . . . ranks third in career defensive saves with 13 . . . is a strong defensive-minded player . . . provides the Green and White with additional toughness on the defensive end . . . is a solid, feisty player . . . very aggressive and utilizes quality defensive skills . . . possesses a positive, coachable attitude . . . has the opportunity to become an exceptional defender in the conference.

2011: Started all 20 games of the season . . . played 1191 minutes . . . recorded a team high eight defensive saves.

2010: Played in and started each of York's 20 games in 2010 . . . provided a solid defensive presence for the Green and White . . . registered five defensive saves on the season, including one against Susquehanna in York's 3-2 triumph on September 14.

2009: Appeared in 16 Spartan contests, drawing three starts . . . each of those three starts proved Spartan victories . . . played mainly a defensive role . . . provided exceptional off-the-bench play in the back . . . scored a goal against Albright in York’s 5-2 win over the Lions on October 1.

Personal: Is an early childhood education major . . . the daughter of Daniel and Ellen Gaitings . . . born on May 21, 1991 . . . was a two-time all-county player during her time at Massapequa High School in Massapequa, NY . . . sports a 3.91 cumulative GPA . . . made the Dean’s List six times . . . is the president of SACC . . . most admires her family . . . her hobbies include shopping and hanging out with friends . . . David Wright is her favorite athlete . . . chose York because “it felt right” . . . most significant athletic achievement as receiving an All-County Award . . . the defender lists scoring her first goal during her freshman year as her most memorable athletic moment at York . . . after graduation she plans on getting her masters’ degree and teaching in New York City.
