Bio Final
In 2026, Coach Katie Fost is entering her 10th season at the helm of Spartan field hockey. She has guided the program to three NCAA Tournament appearances and eight conference tournament berths. Fost ranks second in program history with a stellar 107-53 overall record and holds the highest career winning percentage (.668) in program history.

  • Three NCAA Tournament Appearances (2022, 2023, 2024) 
  • In 2022 and 2023, the Spartans had their most wins in a single season (16)
  • Won the 2024 MAC Commonwealth Championship
  • Earned her 100th win as head coach in 2025 in a 3-0 victory over St. Mary’s College

  • Owns a NSCA CSCS (National Strength Coaches Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification.
