CAREER STATISTICS AND CAREER HIGHS

2011: Enters the 2011 campaign after putting together an outstanding 2010 season ... will look to build upon her all-conference performance from last year ... a very talented student-athlete with the ability to play throughout the field … possesses quality stick skills … is a smooth, quick athlete … is a strong defensive asset while she is also a solid playmaker when lined up in the midfield.

2010: Had a remarkable junior campaign ... played in and started each of York's 20 contests ... tallied a career high seven goals ... added two assists during the season ... provided the game-winning score in the Spartans' 3-0 non-conference victory over Goucher on October 21 ... notched four defensive saves, including two against Alvernia on September 1 ... selected to the All-Capital Athletic Conference second-team, her first postseason honor.

2009: Played in and started all 22 Spartan games … was a major contributor defensively and through the midfield … provided the Spartan offense with two goals and two assists … one of her two scores was of the game-winning variety, as she registered that goal in York’s 2-1 Capital Athletic Conference tournament first round victory over Stevenson on November 1 … also scored against Susquehanna on September 15 to help York to a 4-2 triumph.
 
2008: Played in 18 of 21 games for the Green and White in just her freshman season … made one start in York’s October 11 game at Lynchburg … recorded one shot, which came against St. Mary’s (Md.) on October 4.
 
Personal: Is a nursing major … is the daughter of Ron and Cindy Simmons … born on May 22, 1990 … played her club hockey for LANCO … was a first team all-league and second-team all-state selection in high school … owns a 3.19 cumulative GPA  … made the Dean’s List during the 2008 fall semester … chose York for its location, athletic complex, and nursing major … lists York scoring first against Salisbury on senior day as her most memorable athletic achievement while with the Spartan program … after graduation she plans on getting a job in her career field.
