Biography

Ryan Poff enters his final year in the green and white poised to have an outstanding senior season. After fully recovering from surgery that hampered him last spring, Poff had a very good fall campaign. In 2008, Poff hit .367 with 31 runs scored, 21 RBI and a team-leading 16 two-baggers. He also had a team-high 54 hits and four home runs. For his career, Poff is a .369 hitter with 191 hits, 126 runs, 41 doubles, 10 triples, and 11 home runs. His first RBI in 2009 will be his 100th career RBI. Poff, who has worked hard to be a good defensive player, will play in center field again and hit in the heart of the revamped Spartan lineup. Poff is the son of Gregg and Tammy Poff and is a business administration major.
