Biography

Lauren Stewart enters her senior year as one of the topdefensive midfielders in the Capital Athletic???Conference and theregion. Stewart earned first-team All-CAC???honors in 2008 as sheplayed in and started all 19 games during the year. She tallied onegoal during the year but her ability to control the defensivemidfield enables the Spartans to transition smoothly from defenseto offense. Stewart is a tough hard-nosed player that istechnically sound and efficient. She is an outstanding“on-the-field-leader” for the Spartans and will servethe Spartans as a captain in 2008.
