Jake Hughes begins his final year in the Spartan green and whitelooking to be a key part of the York pitching staff. Hughes willbegin the season in the Spartan rotation and his success could be akey to the Spartan pitching fortunes. Hughes is a lanky, athleticleft-hander that has a good fastball and a deceptive change.Control will be the key to Hughes’ season as he is very hardto beat when he is spotting his pitches.
