2013: Pitched in 11 games with 11 starts as a sophomore ... had a record of 2-8 with an ERA of 5.30 as he matched up against York's top opponents ... logged a team-high 56 innings ... struck out 31 and walked 16 as opponents hit .289 against him ... hit 13 batters ... registered a team-high three complete games ... registered a complete game shutout in the 5-0 win over Mary Washington on April 6 as he struck out four in the win ... made it through six innings in six outings and tossed seven or more innings in four of those stints ... struck out a season-high four batters in three different games.

2012: Made 12 appearances as a freshman with 10 of those games being starts ... finished the year with a mark of 5-2 with a 3.26 ERA in 58 innings of work ... earned the Capital Athletic Conference Rookie-of-the-Year award ... struck out 40 and walked 26 as opponents hit just .228 against him ... tossed three complete games while he posted two shutouts ... had four starts in which he did not allow a run ... posted a career-high nine strikeouts in his two-hit complete game shutout of Immaculata on April 29 ... was the CAC Pitcher of the Week three times during the year.

Personal: Is a mechanical engineering major … is the son of Martin and Carla Gurganus … born on April 7, 1993 ... played for Guy Smith at Huntingtown High School … was a member of the Maryland state champion Huntington High School team in 2010 … threw a no-hitter during his senior high school season … played for the Rockville Express during the summer.
