Dave Snyder

Dave Snyder enters his sixth year on the York College baseball staff in 2020-21 academic year.

Snyder began his coaching career as an assistant at Audubon High School in New Jersey. He went on to become the varsity head coach at St. Joseph’s High School in Hammonton, N.J. After St. Joseph's, Snyder became the head baseball coach for Camden County College. He then moved on to become an assistant baseball coach at Haddonfield High School in Haddonfield, N.J. Along the way, Snyder coached American Legion and various other teams. He has been fortunate to coach many talented players and his teams have experienced much success.

At York, Snyder will work with the infielders and hitters. He hopes to help Coach Scappa continue the excellent baseball tradition at York College.

Snyder has a daughter who was an Ivy League student-athlete and is now a pediatric nurse at Johns Hopkins. Dave lives in York, Pa. with his wife, Diane.
