YORK, Pa. - York College freshman Alex Kaun has been named the MAC Commonwealth Men's Golfer of the Week for the week ending April 5 as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference office on Tuesday.

Kaun led the Spartans to the tournament title by finishing tied for third out of 68 players at the MAC Commonwealth Preview & Albright Spring Invitational. He shot a one-under-par 71 that featured five birdies.

This is Kaun's second MAC weekly honor of the year after earning the accolade in October.

The Spartans return to competition on Friday, April 10 for three days at the Camp Lejeune Collegiate Championship at Paradise Point Golf Club.
