YORK, Pa. – The York men's track and field team sits tied at fourth in the standings after day one of the Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Messiah, on Thursday.
Top Performances
Andrew Manning scored four points for the Spartans with his fifth-place finish in the hammer throw. Manning recorded a 48.57m toss.
Aidan Rollinson and
Alex Forbes finished seventh (45.98m) and eighth (45.40m) in hammer throw respectively, adding another three points for the Green and White.
The Spartans picked up two points as the 4x800m relay team finished seventh.
Joshua Smoot,
Tylor Druckemiller,
Seth Topfer, and
David Orellana combined for a time of 8:13.2.
Logan Rhoades led the way for York in the 10K, as he finished 21st with a personal-best time of 34:16.33.
Matt Martin sits in third place in the decathlon with 3032 points after day one.
