#8 Women’s Lacrosse Closes Regular Season with Victory Over Alvernia

YORK, Pa. - The No. 8 York women's lacrosse team will head into the postseason on a seven-game win streak following an 18-1 victory over Alvernia at home on Saturday.

Highlights
The Spartans ripped off eight-straight goals to start the game before Hannah Tyler put Alvernia on the board with 3:26 left in the first quarter. York went on to blank the Golden Wolves through the final three quarters while limiting Alvernia to just four more shots.

Juliana Silvernale led all players with a career-high five points on a career-best five goals. Sydney Mentzer led all players with six draw controls to go along with three goals.

The York defense limited the Golden Wolves to a season-low six shots while holding their seventh-straight opponent to single digits.
