OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The No. 8 York women's lacrosse team visited Stevenson University for MAC Commonwealth action, Wednesday night. The Spartans picked up a commanding 17-7 road win over the Mustangs.

York owned a 8-3 lead after one quarter of play. The Spartans took a commanding 12-3 lead into halftime.
Sofie Steel led the Spartans with a career-high six points on four goals and two assists, all of which were in the first half of play.
The Mustangs opened the third quarter with two-straight goals. York responded with three goals of its own, closing out the third quarter with a 15-5 lead.
Stevenson, similarly to the third quarter, opened up the fourth quarter with two goals. However, the Spartans halted the scoring and added their final two goals off the sticks of
Lauren Gillies and
Leigha Saurbaugh.
