Spartans Fall in Four at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Spartan women's volleyball team fell in four sets, 3-1, in a MAC crossover match at Lebanon Valley on Saturday.

How It Happened
The Dutchmen jumped out to a 2-0 lead with two convincing wins to open the match. Lebanon Valley led wire-to-wire in a 25-15 opening set win as they hit .344 with a staggering 75% sideout percentage. LVC traded the lead early before slamming the door on York in a 25-12 second set win behind a .440 attack percentage.

The Spartans ended the third set on a 3-0 run to squeak out a 25-22 victory with Gracie Plunkert and Saniya Esters leading the way with four kills each. The momentum swiftly shifted back to the Dutchmen in the fourth set as they rolled to a 25-18 win after trailing just once in the  frame.

The Spartans will return to conference play on Tuesday with a trip to Neumann.
