YORK, PA – The York College women's tennis team saw their four game win streak come to an end on a chilly Sunday afternoon in York as Dickinson blanked York 7-0 in a non-conference contest.
The Red Devils earned the doubles point as they won all three of the doubles matches.
Dickinson captured the first singles point as Natasha Sharnoff downed York's
Hannah Sult 6-0, 6-1 to go up 2-0. The Red Devils made it 3-0 with a first singles win as Alisa Steele downed
Bri Serruto 6-1, 6-2. Dickinson clinched the match with a tight third singles win as Chloe Heller edged
Maddi Haggerty 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 for the 4-0 lead.
The Red Devils completed the sweep with straight set wins in the fourth, fifth and sixth singles matches.
York returns to action on Saturday, March 29 when they host Messiah in a MAC Commonwealth contest. The match at the Myers Tennis Complex is set for a 1:00 pm start.
