GETTYSBURG, PA – The York College women's tennis team dropped their 2024 fall opener on Saturday as they were blanked by Gettysburg College 7-0 in Gettysburg.

The Bullets swept the three doubles matches as they won the first doubles match 6-0, the second doubles contest 6-1 and the third doubles bout 6-3 to take a 1-0 lead.
Gettysburg began the singles matches with a 6-0, 6-0 second singles win. The Bullets made it 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 sixth singles victory. Gettysburg closed out the team victory with a 6-1, 6-0 first singles win to provide for the decisive fourth team point.
Sophomore
Kennedy Conte had a strong showing in the fourth singles match as she dropped a three-set decision to Emma Ward. Conte won set one 6-4 before Ward captured set two 6-0. Ward then won the third set tiebreaker 10-4.
