GRANTHAM, PA – The York College men's tennis team saw their three-game win streak come to an end as they dropped a 7-2 decision at Messiah in MAC Commonwealth action on Saturday in Grantham.

The Spartans fall to 4-8 overall as they saw Commonwealth record fall to 3-1. The Falcons are now 3-0 in the league as they improve to 4-8 overall.
The Spartans fell behind early as the Falcons swept the three doubles matches. All three were close but the Falcons were able to edge the Green and White in each of the contests.

York got on the board in the second singles match as Jason Lutz notched a 6-2, 6-3 win over Timothy Sheaffer. The singles win is the team-leading seventh for the Spartans.

York's other win came from Hayden Musser in the fourth singles match as he downed Carl Anderson 6-3, 7-5.

York has a busy final week of the regular season as they have three matches next week starting with a trip to McDaniel to face the Green Terror in a match up match on Monday. York then heads to Stevenson on Tuesday before closing out the regular season next Saturday at home against Hood.
