YORK, PA – The York College men's tennis squad dropped a 9-0 non-conference decision to Ursinus College on Tuesday afternoon in York.

The Bears improve to 8-1 while the Spartans fall to 1-7. It's the third shutout loss by the Spartans this year.

The Bears swept the three doubles matches by identical 8-0 scores to seize control of the match early.

Ursinus then won all six singles matches with all six coming in straight sets.

The Spartans return to action on Saturday, April 6 when they open MAC Commonwealth play against Eastern University. The match is set for a 1:00 pm start at the Myers Tennis Complex.
