ANNVILLE, PA – The York College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 non-conference decision at Lebanon Valley College on Saturday afternoon in Annville, PA.
The Spartans fall to 1-6 overall while the Dutchmen improve to 5-6.
The Dutchmen won the first and third doubles matches 8-0 but
Ben Dorsey and
Jason Lutz earned an 8-6 second doubles win to get York on the board.
Lutz earned York's lone singles victory as he posted a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) win over Jake Erb in the second singles match.
Hayden Musser was the other Spartan to force a third set as he dropped a 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 fourth singles decision to LVC's Colin Brusse.
The Dutchmen won the other four singles matches in straight sets.
The Spartans are now off until March 27 when they host Ursinus College in a non-conference contest. The match is slated for a 4:00 pm start at the Myers Tennis Complex.
