SALISBURY, MD – The York College men's tennis team began the spring portion of their 2023-24 schedule with a 9-0 loss at the hands of the Salisbury Sea Gulls.
The Spartans fall to 0-5 while the Sea Gulls improve to 7-0.
Salisbury swept all three of the doubles matches, winning 8-2, 8-3, and 8-1 in the three flights.
Salisbury won all six singles matches in straight sets. York's
Ian Bartles gave Tim Holt a battle as Bartles fell 7-5, 6-4 in the sixth singles match.
The Spartans return to action on Thursday, March 14 as they host Lancaster Bible at the Myers Tennis Complex. The match is slated for a 3:30 pm start.
