Serruto picked up York's sixth point with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 win over Abady in the third singles match. The Gophers earned wins in the second singles and fourth singles matches to provide for the Spartans' final margin of victory.
The Spartans return to action on Wednesday afternoon as they host McDaniel College in a non-conference contest. The match will be a doubleheader with the Spartan men as they also host the Green Terror. The match is slated for a 4:00 pm start.
