Daphney Adams walked and stole second,
Emma Wade singled to center to score Harhigh and give York the 1-0 lead. The Blazers starter Rebecca Gottleib worked out of any further damage with a strikeout and a ground out.
• The Blazers notched the equalizer in the bottom of the fourth as Jocelyn Pfleiger walked, moved to second on a two-out single and scored on a Lindsay Wilson single to center.
• York pushed back in front in the top of the sixth. Adams kicked off the inning with a single but was thrown out at the plate on Wade's double to left center.
Taylor Coon ran for Wade at second and she scored on
Emma Keller's sharp double down the right field line. Keller came around to touch the plate on
Taylor Lindsay's RBI single to right center for the 3-1 York lead.
• York tacked on another run in the seventh as
Natalie Decena launched a solo home run to left as the Spartan lead grew to 4-1. That was more than enough for Lindsay as the Spartan starter cruised to the complete game win as she allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts and three walks. Lindsay improves to 11-4 with the game one win.
