MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The York College baseball squad got a much needed doubleheader sweep of Dean University on an overcast and humid Wednesday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Spartans won game one 25-3 and followed that with an 11-8 victory in the nightcap.
The wins snapped a four-game losing skid as the Spartans had not won since their season opener on March 1 at Rutgers-Camden. The Spartans have one game remaining on their spring trip before being scheduled to open at home with a three-game set this weekend against Elmira.
