Over the next five minutes, the Spartans maintained the lead between four and eight points. Albright's Chris Kouemi hit back to back buckets to bring the Lions to within four at 54-50. The Spartans then went on a three-point barrage as Rimel, David Giuliani, and Rimel again hit bombs on three straight possessions as the York lead grew to 63-50 with 6:50 left in the game.
• Albright chipped away at the lead and eventually got to within four at 72-68 with 2:22 left in regulation. From there, the Spartans got back-to-back lay ups and 10 straight free throws to win the game by 12.
