How It Happened
  • For the second-straight dual the Spartans began with six-straight victories to begin the match. After the Spartans received a forfeit at 125, Dalton Rohrbaugh and Tyson McDuffy went to post back-to-back first-period technical falls to bust open a 16-0 lead. Rohrbaugh recorded eight takedowns with two tilts in his 22-7 victory, while McDuffy needed just 1:45 to complete his 16-0 win.
  • Jared Bair and Eric Hutchinson went back-to-back with falls at 149 and 157 with botches lasting a combined 2:05. Timmy Sparks, for the second dual in a row, sealed the team win with a victory at 165. Sparks racked up 12 near fall points on three tilts in the first period before escaping from bottom to start the second to clinch the technical fall and put York ahead by 33 points.
  • Penn St. Mont Alto broke up the shutout with back-to-back wins 174 and 184 by just a combined total of eight points.
  • Camden Farrow put the exclamation point on the team victory with a fall in just 11 seconds, which ranks as the second-fastest pin by a Spartan in a varsity bout this season.

How It Happened
  • The Bullets spotted the Spartans six points with a forfeit at 125 and York made it hurt even more with back-to-back bonus wins at 133 and 141. Dalton Rohrbaugh compiled over four minutes in riding time and scored eight points in the third period to get to the major decision. Tyson McDuffy recorded his technical fall of the day as he tilted Jake Stein three times on his way to a 19-2 win.
  • Eric Mougalian got Gettysburg on the board with a gritty performance against Jared Bair. Mougalian put together a big second period with a takedown and four near fall points and then out-scored Bair 3-0 in the third to seal the win.
  • The Bullets cut the deficit to 10 with a fall at 165, but key bonus points by Eric Hutchinson at 157 followed up later by a fall from Kyle Strazdus at 174 kept the Spartans at a comfortable margin with just three bouts remaining.
  • Gettysburg made things interesting with an overtime victory at 184, but Camden Farrow quickly erased all hope of a Bullet comeback with another first-period fall to clinch the dual win.
  • Brock Hofler put the icing on the cake with his first-career fall at 285. After a scoreless first period, Hofler chose to start the second on bottom from which he escaped and then stuck Tony Esquivias on his back with just five seconds left in the second.
