How It Happened
• York got off to a good start in the game as they raced out to a 16-7 lead just under six minutes into the game. The run was fueled by a pair of
Logan Collins three pointers as York made four three pointers in the opening six minutes of the game.
• The Spartans led 22-13 at the 10:32 mark but the Dutchmen went on a quick 9-1 run to trim the York lead to one at 23-22. The next four minutes of the game went back and forth with two ties and four lead changes. With the Dutchmen holding a 28-27 lead courtesy of a Zach Tucker lay-up, the Spartans ripped off a game-changing 14-0 run turning a one point deficit into a 13-point halftime lead. Another Collins three kicked off the spurt while the defense was brilliant in blanking LVC over the final 4:29 of the half.
• The Spartans continued the run after the intermission as the Spartans scored seven of the first nine points of the half to increase the lead to 18 at 48-30. The Green and White methodically built the lead to a game-high 24 on a three-point play by
Nolan Hubbs.
• LVC put together a 13-3 run to cut York's lead to 14 with 6:11 left in the game. The Dutchmen eventually cut the Spartan lead to as low as 12 but the York advantage would prove to be too big to overcome.
