How It Happened
• The Dutchmen had a great opportunity in the third minute as Lucy McGloshen got an open run along the left flank. She fired a shot across the goalmouth to the right post but Spartan defender
Moriah Morton cleared the shot off the line. York had a chance at the ten minute mark as

Alyssa Russell was just a step late as she couldn't reach to the ball to finish off the chance.
• The Spartans had a golden chance in the 23
rd minute as they fired off three shots at point blank range.
Jenna Terenchin hit the post with the first shot. The rebound came to
Caitlyn Findlay who had the ball cleared off the line by the face of an LVC defender. Findlay got a second shot that was cleared off by a second LVC defender as York was denied the score. Two minutes later, Terenchin hit the post a second time on a well struck shot that just drifted a touch too far to the right in hitting the post.

th minute. Findlay hit a long outlet to Terenchin on the left wing. Terenchin lofted a left-footed shot from about 20 yards out. The shot curled back towards the goal, sneaking inside the far right post for the 1-0 lead.
• The Green and White struck for a big insurance goal in the 73
rd minute. Off a throw in, Findlay collected the pass and drove toward the end line. She flicked a nifty pass back towards the box where
