How It Happened

• Bilbie had a chance to give the Spartans the lead in the 52nd minute as he blistered a shot that hit the cross bar.

• The Cougars netted the go-ahead goal in the 63rd minute as Anthony Ippolito converted a Barry Kabinoff pass into a goal.

• York would get a good attempt by Joel Teston (Manassas, Va./Forest Park) in the 79th minute but Matt Smith would get the save for the Cougars.
