Box Score GETTYSBURG, PA – The York College women's soccer squad suffered their third straight shutout loss as the Gettysburg College Bullets downed the Spartans 3-0 in a non-conference match in Gettysburg on Wednesday night.

How It Happened
• The Spartans played well early as they fired off two of the first three shots of the game. Then the Bullets started to keep the Spartans locked into their defensive third. Gettysburg had a pair of shots that preceded the game's opening goal.
• That opening goal came 22:17 into the game as Krissy Bradley fed a pass Samantha Esposito from the top of the box. Esposito drilled the ball home inside the left post for the 1-0 lead. The
• Gettysburg kept the pressure on as the Bullets outshot York 10-2 in the opening 45 minutes including a 6-2 margin in shots on goal.
• The Bullets added on to the lead in the 57th minute as Julia Ramsey drove home a free kick from the top of the box as the shot was slotted inside the right post. The goal was her first of the season.
• Esposito struck for a second time in the 64th minute as she scored off a pass from Lauren Meissmer. Meissmer played a long pass forward up the left sideline. Esposito hit a rolling shot from the top of the box.
• York got outshot 10-1 in the second half as they never had any sustained offensive momentum during the 90 minutes of action.
