Box Score GETTYSBURG, PA – The York College men's soccer dropped a 2-0 non-conference decision to a rested Gettysburg College squad on a warm, humid Saturday evening in Gettysburg. The Spartans were playing their fourth game in the last seven days and suffered their first loss of the season.

How It Happened
• The Bullets opened the scoring with a goal 24:24 into the game. Jeff Schaefer drove a pass into the middle of the box and Lucas Weissman finished off the opportunity for his first goal of the season.
• York outshot the Bullets 5-3 in the opening 45 minutes including a 3-2 margin in shots on goal but Thomas Keane kept the Spartans off the board with three saves.
• The Bullets added to the lead a mere 1:52 after the break as Precious Ozoh forced a Spartan turnover deep in York's defensive third. He slotted a shot from the right side of the box inside the far left post for the 2-0 lead.
• York put two shots on goal in the next six minutes but Keane saved both attempts.
• The Spartans would be shutout for the first time since last season's CAC tournament loss to St. Mary's on November 4.

The Spartans return home to conclude their swing through the Centennial Conference as they host regional rival Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm at Graham Field. The Spartans will be at home Wednesday and then back on the road for three more in a row as they are in a middle of a stretch of six out of seven games on the road.
