Nick Carrington converted the penalty kick to give Salisbury the 1-0 lead with 14:29 left in the opening half.

• The second half was all Spartans from the start. York notched the equalizer just 8:13 into the second half. Chris Hobbs hit a long free kick to the right side of the box. Matt Freibaum flicked a header to the goal and Joel Teston finished off the pass, tying the game at one.

• The Spartans got a foul in the box in the 68th minute after a Sea Gull foul. Junior Ryan Ockford finished the penalty kick for his fourth PK conversion of the year as the Spartans took a lead they would not relinquish.

• Junior Chris Hobbs finished off the scoring with a free kick from 28 yards from outside the left side of the box. He got the ball air born into the jet stream and the ball curled inside the near post for the tally.
