Nick Roman returns to the York Men’s Lacrosse program for the 2024 season as an assistant coach.
Roman comes back to York after a standout career in his playing days with the Green and White. During his career, the Spartans won 64 games while picking up 193 ground balls. Roman helped lead the 2016 team to the school’s first CAC Championship beating #1 Salisbury University. Roman was twice named all-conference and was named both a USILA All-American and Scholar All-American.
Roman will work closely with the Spartans leading the teams’ strength and conditioning efforts.
"I am thrilled to add Nick to our coaching staff," says head coach Brandon Childs. "Nick was always the standard for what a York Lacrosse player should be. On the field and off the field Nick was always focused on becoming the best version of himself. Our players are fortunate to work with Nick and learn from how he lives his life day in and day out.”
