Michele (Lobach) Cree joined the Spartan field hockey coaching staff in 2014. Lobach served two years under Carly Zinn and remained on staff for Kaitlyn Hamilton in 2016 before Katie Fost arrived in York for the 2017 season.
Cree comes to York after compiling a stellar playing career at Lebanon Valley College from 2007-2010.
At LVC, Cree was named an NFHCA First-Team All-American as a junior and a Second-Team All-American as a senior. She earned NFHCA First-Team All-Region honors as a junior and senior, in addition to earning Second-Team All-Region accolades as a sophomore. Cree also earned All-Commonwealth Conference honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior, in addition to being named the Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the Year.
Named a team captain her senior year, Cree finished out her collegiate career as Lebanon Valley's all-time career assists leader as she compiled 151 points on 53 goals and 45 assists. She also played a major role in leading LVC to four straight trips to the NCAA Tournament.
Cree graduated from Lebanon Valley in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
A native of York County, Cree grew up in Hanover, Pa. and played high school field hockey at South Western High School.
