Sea Gulls Snap Spartan Win Streak in Five Set Thriller

SALISBURY, MD – The York College volleyball squad saw Salisbury University snap the Spartans' five match win streak on Wednesday night as the Sea Gulls outlasted the Spartans 3-2 in Capital Athletic Conference play in Salisbury, MD.

York is now 15-32 all-time against the Sea Gulls as the teams have split their last four meetings … York hit just .056 in the loss, their lowest attack percentage in nine matches and ties for their second lowest mark of the season … York is now 2-3 in five set matches … junior Emily Pupo notched her second highest total of digs for the year with 27 in the match ... York's five match win strak was a season-high.
