• York flipped the script in game three as they raced out to a 13-6 lead in the set. Salisbury called timeout and went on a five-point run, cutting York's lead to 13-11. Salisbury made another run, tying the set at 17. The set would be tied at 18 but York then went on a 7-2 run to end the set and take a 2-1 lead in the match.

• York got off to another good start in the fourth set. York pushed out to a 15-8 advantage. York maintained the lead but Salisbury did make it interesting, cutting the York lead to one at 21-20. The Spartans scored the final four points of the match to earn the 3-1 win.
