York went on to score three more points to close out the first set.

The set was tied at 10 and the Spartans fashioned a 12-4 run to take a 22-14 lead. The run was capped by a pair of Kierstin Grove aces and a Jordyn Cotone kill. York eventually closed out the set with a six-point win.

• The third set was almost and exact mirror of the first set. The Lions jumped out to a 4-0 lead only to have the Spartans come back and tie the set at five. York took a 12-8 lead only to have the Lions cut the lead to one at 12-11. York responded with an 8-3 run to take a 20-14 lead.
