• The Spartans got on the scoreboard in the 33rd minute by way of a goal from senior midfielder Georgia Gillcrist Gilcrist took a pass from freshman Joanna Gorrell, played the ball off of her shoulder, then beat a defender to create space to put the shot past DiToma for a 1-0 Spartan lead late in the first half.

• The Green and White struck again right after the halftime whistle.  Freshman Anna Morton played a pass to sophomore Jenna Terenchin at the top of the 18.  Terenchin made the most of the opportunity by slotting the shot into the back of the net to double the Spartan lead in the 46th minute.

• York added a third in the 64th minute when freshman Rori Englert passed to sophomore Caitlyn Findlay who then dribbled past one defender and poked the ball past Haley Taylor to make the Spartan lead 3-0 and secure a win for the Green and White.
