Personal: Is a history major … is the daughter of Frank and Eileen Verde … born on June 17, 1990 … names her grandpa, John McGuire, as the person she most admires … hobbies include running, sleeping, and eating … favorite athlete is Wilma Rudolph … chose York because of the inexpensive cost, Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center, and the fact that it is away from home … most significant athletic achievement is being named the CAC Athlete-of-the-Week … most memorable moment while with the Spartan program is watching her team grow and succeed, “we are like a family” … after graduation she plans on attending graduate school.
