Brandon Boyer begins his third season on the Spartan staff and is a member of the coaching staff for both men's and women's cross country, and track & field. 
 
In his first ever season with the cross country program, the men's and women's teams achieved historic success during the post-season. The women won their second consecutive Capital Athletic Conference championship while the men's team earned their first team bid to the NCAA DIII National Championships. 
 
On the track, Boyer focuses on coaching the middle and long distance events and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program. A 2011 graduate of Shippensburg University, Boyer was as a member of the Red Raiders' cross country and track & field teams. In 2010, Boyer was a NCAA DII Cross Country All-American and also earned All-Region and All-Conference honors in cross country. As a 10,000 meter specialist on the track, he was a multiple time conference place winner in the 10k.
 
As a post-collegiate runner, Boyer continues to train and race as a member of the locally-renowned Spring Street Track Club. Away from running, Boyer enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog Dobby.
