Caroline Jaeger joins the Spartan women's lacrosse coaching staff for the 2019 season.
Jaeger was a decorated player during her collegiate career at Gettysburg College. Jaeger was a member of the 2017 National Champion team where she led the team in goals with 46 while also being awarded 2017 IWLCA All-American honors, IWLCA All-Metro Region First Team honors, and was an All-Centennial Conference First Team performer. Jaeger was selected to play in the Division III Senior All-Star game in 2017 as well. While at Gettysburg, her teams won two Centennial Conference titles and made the Elite 8 three times in addition to her Final Four appearance and National Championship season. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organization and Management Studies with a Business minor and was named to the IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll twice.
Jaeger spent three years as an assistant coach with the club lacrosse team T3 Elite in New Jersey. There she coached a high school girls team to develop their skills in order to play collegiate lacrosse while also assisting in the recruiting process. In addition, she also worked summer camps with T3 to teach elemenary and middle-school aged girls basic skills and rules of the game. Jaeger went on to be the head coach of the club lacrosse team Black Dog Lacrosse in York, Pa.
Last year, Jaeger served as the varsity head coach at Eastern York High School where she expanded their lacrosse game sense and strategy.
