Spartan Men Cruise Past Salisbury in Saturday CAC Meet

YORK, PA – The York College men's swim squad picked up their first conference win of the year as they downed Salisbury University 113-89 in a Capital Athletic Conference meet in York on Saturday afternoon. The meet was the home opener for the 2018-19 Spartans.

York improves to 2-2 overall on the dual meet season and 1-1 in conference dual meets.

The Spartans had four swimmers win individual events including sophomore All-American Keven Stahl earning another three wins in the meet.

Keven Stahl – 1000 Freestyle (9:53.61), 200 IM (2:00.13), 500 Freestyle (4:51.61)

Kaelan Dowdall – 100 Butterfly (54.77)

Greg Williams – 100 Backstroke (55.64)

Sophomore Keven Stahl now has a team-leading six wins for the year in two meets … Kaelan Dowdall, Greg Williams, and Tyler Maggio all picked up their first wins of the year.

 

Up Next:

The Spartans return to action next Saturday when they travel to St. Mary's College to face the Seahawks in a Capital Athletic Conference match. The action is slated for a 1:00 pm start in St. Mary's City.
