2020-21: Outdoor: began his season with an 11th place finish in the 5K and a 12th place finish in the 1500 meter run at the Falcon First Chance Hexagonal meet ... placed fifth in the 10K at the Messiah Multi Invitational ... finished second in the 5K at the Widener MAC Only Meet #4 ... set a pair of career bests at the 2021 MAC Outdoor Championships as he placed sixth in the 10K with a time of 32:03.57 and eighth in the 5K with a time of 15:24.64. 

2019-20: Indoor: Second Team All-Capital Athletic Conference performer in the 3K ... two-time medalist at the CAC Indoor Championships in the 3K and 5K ... posted York's top times of the season in the 3K and 5K, while ranking in the CAC in those events for the season ... also posted the 11th-best time in the mile in the CAC ... compiled five top-5 performances throughout the indoor season .. opened the season at the Moravian College Indoor meet with a second place finish in the 5K ... set a new PR in the mile at the Mini-Dip Invitational as he placed fourth with a time of 4:35.08 ... was second in the 3K at the Plex Shootout at Alvernia ... his times in the 3K and the 5K at the CAC Championships were both PRs as his 3K time was 8:44.06 while this 5K time was 15:27.21. 

2018-19: Indoor: kicked off his indoor career with a second place finish at the Coach I Open as part of the DMR team ... placed 15th in the 5K at the Bucknell Bison Open ... finished 11th in the 3K at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invite ... placed fifth in the 5K at the Capital Athletic Conference Indoor championships with a time of 15:49.16 ... Outdoor: began his outdoor season with a PR in the 10K at the Jim Taylor Invite as he posted a time of 33:12.61, good for a third place finish ... set a new PR in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:17.02 at the Messiah Invitational ... placed sixth in the 5K at the York College Twilight Meet ... had a strong showing at the CAC Outdoor Championships with a pair of 7th place finishes in the 5000m (15:58.05) and 10,000m (34:17.93).

Personal: Is a mechanical engineering major ... is the son of Brian and Kelly Smyth... competed at Boyertown High School ... earned PAC Boys Cross Country All-Conference team after his junior and senior seasons at Boyertown ... was a Mercury All-Area boys track selection as a junior ... was a Mercury All-Area boys cross country selection after his junior year ... was a 2018 All-CAC second team cross country performer and a 2019 first-team finisher.
