2011: Embarks on his senior campaign with the Spartan program ... chosen as a captain for this season ... dedicated to the squad ... plays well on the baseline ... possesses a solid forehand ... constantly hustles on the court and works hard in each match ... outstanding worker in practice which has allowed him to improve during his career.

2010: Was York's primary option at fifth singles ... put together an 8-11 singles record including a 7-8 mark in the fifth slot ... teamed up with Ryan Harvey in doubles as the pair combined to post a team-best 10-6 doubles mark playing primarily in the third spot.

2009: Gained quality experience on the practice court ... able to learn from some of York's top players ... teamed with James Villari for a double-match win as they topped Wesley's Rashad Laster and Jon Hall 8-2 on April 8.

2008: Did not play with the Spartans.

Personal: Is a secondary education-social studies and history major ... is the son of Bernie and Karen Hostetter ... born on June 8, 1989 ... most admires Jesus Christ ... hobbies include volleyball, football, wallyball, and pickleball ... chose York because of its location, small size, and Division III tennis ... lists his most significant athletic achievement as winning the wallyball intramural championship ... after graduation he plans on getting married, having children, and teaching.
