2013-14: Starts his sophomore season for the Spartans ... Will look to his hard work and dedication to help drop times even further ... should be a help to the younger Spartans with his experience. 

2012-13: Placed fifth in season opening meet at Mary Washington in the 100 yard backstroke touching the wall in 1:04.93 ... Helped the 400 yard medley relay team place fifth and personally took ninth place in the 200 yard backstroke in the Nov. 10 home tri-meet meet ... Swam a 1:01.48 in the 100 yard backstroke in the Nov 30 tri-meet ... Swam well at the championships with a 2:12.98 in the 200 yard backstroke and a 24.64 in the 50 yard freestyle ... took 10^th overall in the 200 yard backstroke at CAC’s.

Personal: Is a computer science major . . . the son of Reiner and Andrea Schmidt ... born July 26, 1994 ... swam for the Peachwood Pirates ... swam for Tommy Quinette in high school ... served as team captain in high school
