2010: Enters senior campaign one of York's best runners ... will look for a return to the All-Capital Athletic Conference first-team ... a solid overall student-athlete ... one of only wo seniors on this season's roster and will need to be a leader for the young Spartan squad.

2009: Took sixth in the Spartan Invitation by completing the 8,000 meter course in 28:59.78 … in the Goucher Classic finished with 28:51.80 … out of 123 runners at the Hood Invitational, placed 4th with a 28:21.80 … notched second in the coed meet at Goucher … landed first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference honors after an impressive 27:31.34 performance led to a seventh-place finish during the conference championship.

Personal: Is a business administration major ... is the son of Gary and Karen Janes ... born on October 31, 1987 ... was county and region champion & captain of cross country and track team in high school ... hobbies include hunting, fishing, rock climbing ... favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine ... chose York because his "sister graduated in 2006" ... most significant athletic achievement is running in NCAA nationals in DII as a freshmen ... most memorable athletic moment while with the Spartan Program is making first-team All-CAC in cross country in 2009 ... after graduation he plans on owning his own business.
