Women’s Tennis Dominates Berks in Fall Opener

YORK, Pa. - The York College women's tennis team opened the fall portion of their schedule with a 7-0 victory over Penn State Berks at home on Saturday.

How It Happened
The Spartans captured an early 1-0 lead by winning the doubles competition with a pair of 6-0 victories.

York went on to sweep the singles matches and received forfeits at the fight and sixth flights. Maddi Haggerty and Abby Morgan teamed up for a win in doubles and carried that momentum over to singles where they each claimed victories at the top two flights.
